A turbocharger forces more air into the 'combustion chamber' with help from the engine's exhaust pressure

A supercharger is a separate electrical unit that runs off the engine's power to increase combustion air pressure

To play a pattern, the orange light to the left of the play button should be set to 'PAT'

To play the song, the orange light should be set to 'SONG'

Simple, but learned after much faffing around (as is usual)

Suggested way to build a track in the sequencer (learned after much faffing about)

1. Clone 'pattern 1' as many times as needed
2. For each pattern, load the samples you want to include as channels
3. Use the piano roll to set the sequence for each channel in each pattern

NB:

1. If the green light to the left of a channel is turned OFF, future or prior patterns will lose the opportunity to include that channel; so keep the green lights turned ON for all channels on all patterns
2. For a particular pattern where you want to exclude a particular channel, go to the piano roll and remove the channel's sequence: this keeps the channel available for other patterns

So, 

• The piano roll is 'king'
• To make a channel 'live' for a pattern, program the sequence in the piano roll
• To effectively remove a channel from a pattern (or turn it off), go to piano roll and remove the sequence
